Back in October I took a Meg Bitton Photography Workshop and it opened my eyes, it made me see, it made me feel the emotions that I want to see in my images. But most importantly she made me Believe. Believe in me, Believe in my work and Believe in what I do.

When I first emailed Meg about the workshop I was super nervous. . . .  I wrote to her asking if “I was good enough to take the workshop” and she quickly put my mind at ease, explaining that all I needed was the desire to learn and grow. I learned and I grew and I am still growing and learning. She opened the door to hand editing for me, in the past I had relied on actions to edit my images, but I always felt that there was a better way.  And there IS by hand, without actions.

Here are a few of my favorite images that I took at the workshop.

Oh, This DRESS!!

This was an eye opening experience and I am so grateful to have had the chance to watch Meg Bitton as she photographed the beautiful model (Bella), learn from her and photograph alongside her.  She is a true inspiration and I love putting what I learned to use in my sessions.

Meg Bitton is an amazing photographer and educator AND story teller. View her work and learn about her workshops http://www.megbitton.com

I love this beautiful DUMBO, NY engagement session. I just love Kristen and Chris! Not only did they ask me to photograph their engagement but they also asked me to be in their upcoming wedding! I can not wait to celebrate over the next few months! I am so, so happy and honored for my beautiful cousin and Chris.
